Your coding agent, on your phone
Agent Notifier lets an AI coding agent (Junie, Claude Code, Codex and others) send you notifications and ask you questions. Answer from your phone or the web and the agent carries on.

The agent continues
The command prints your answer as JSON and the agent picks up where it stopped.
Features
Notifications
One-line push messages when a long task finishes, so you can step away from the laptop.
Questions with options
Single or multiple choice plus free text. Answers are validated and the first answer wins.
Android, iOS and web
Answer from the mobile app or from the web inbox when your phone is not handy.
Works with any agent
Anything that can run a shell command can use it. Outbound HTTPS only, no tunnel needed.
Revocable tokens
Each laptop gets its own API token. Revoke one without signing out anywhere else.
Private by design
No ads, no analytics. Delete your account and all data from the app or the web at any time.
Install the CLI
The agent-notifier command is a single static binary for Linux, macOS and Windows. Download the build for your system, put it on your PATH and connect it to your account:
agent-notifier login # sign in with an emailed code; stores an API token
agent-notifier notify "Build finished"
agent-notifier ask "Which database?" --options Postgres,SQLite --timeout 600
# {"selected":["SQLite"],"text":""}
You can also create a token in the app or the web app and run agent-notifier configure --token <token>.
ask exits 0 with the answer on stdout, 3 when nobody answered before the timeout (fall back to asking in the agent session) and 1 on errors.
To make your agent use it, add a line to its instructions file (for example AGENTS.md or CLAUDE.md): "When you need my input and I may be away, run agent-notifier ask and use its output as my answer."
